Jodie Harsh born Jay Clarke Canterbury, Kent in 1985, is a London based DJ and Promoter.[1][2]

Clarke attended the London College of Fashion.[3] It was while at University that Clarke first adopted the persona of Harsh to make money.[4]
Originally wanting to become a journalist a career in promotion was kicked off after a much hyped event at the Soho Review Bar, leading to the management requesting Harsh start her own club night Circus.[5] This came after four years working in clubs such as The End in London and Space in Ibiza.[6]
Harsh has become a celebrity in her own right and can count Amy Winehouse, Kelly Osbourne, Lily Allen and Jaime Winstone as friends amongst other celebrity types.[7][8] Despite the similarity in name, Harsh states that she does not keep in contact with the glamour model Jodie Marsh, although has met her on occasion.[9]
Harsh is scheduled to DJ at Lovebox Festival in July 2011.[10] There are plans for Harsh to release an EP in July.[11]
Clarke is gay and came out when he was 15 years old.[12]
